Consultancy services to be provided online in all disciplines available in the hospital subject to respective Consultant’s consent.
Terms and Conditions :
The following terms and conditions govern all the transactions with respect to consultations including appointment booking and refund and all other transactions through the website patientportal.eedf.in.
The services provided through the Website are not intended in any ways to be a substitute for face to face consultation with a doctor. Terms 'you' and 'your' hereafter refer to the user both registered and unregistered who is using/browsing through website patientportal.eedf.in.
1) Availability, Appointment, Rescheduling and/or Cancellation:
a. All consultancy will be available upon full payment of Consultancy fees during the time slot mentioned on the website for each consultant.
b. Charges per consultancy – Rs. 500 plus Rs. 25 as internet charges.
c. Duration of the consultancy will depend upon the nature of the problem raised by the patient and depending upon the consultant, however under no circumstances shall exceed 25 minutes per slot.
d. All booking and refund and other transactions to be done throughthe website patientportal.eedf.in. All appointments will be made within the stipulated time available for online consultancy.
e. All advices by the doctors will depend upon the information provided by the patient or any authorized representative of the patient to SASK. The hospital reserves the right to cancel any appointment which has been made by submitting false/deceptive/inaccurate information.
f. Online consultancy is a separate product from physical consultancy and the two are not interchangeable.
2) Indemnity:
You agree and undertake to indemnify and keep indemnified Sri Aurobindo Seva Kendra (An EEDF Medicare Centre), Kolkata, the concerned doctor/physician and Sri Aurobindo Seva Kendra, Kolkata for any losses, costs, charges and expenses including reasonable attorney fees that the concerned doctor/physician and Sri Aurobindo Seva Kendra, Kolkata may suffer on account of
a. misdiagnosis/faulty judgement/interpretation errors/perception error arising from
(i) your failure to provide correct and/or complete clinical information/history about the patient in timely and clinically appropriate manner ; or
(ii) suppression of material facts; or your failure to provide relevant clinical information about the patient; or
(iii) misinterpretation of the advice/prescription/diagnosis by you; or
(iv) failure to follow doctor’s advice/prescription by you ; or
b. incorrect or inaccurate credit/debit card details provided arising from you ; or
c. using a credit/debit card which is not lawfully owned by you ; or
d. if you permit a third party to use your password or other means to access your account.
3) Limitations of liability:
In no event shall Sri Aurobindo Seva Kendra, Kolkata be liable for any direct, indirect, punitive, incidental, special or consequential damages or any damages whatsoever including without limitations, damages for loss of use, data or profits, arising out of or in any way connected with the use of Sri Aurobindo Seva Kendra, Kolkata services.
4) Disclaimer::

Refund and Cancellation Policy :
You can cancel your booking up to 24 hours before the time of booking and a sum of 30% will be deducted as charges. The hospital will take around 3-5 days to process the refund and the amount will be refunded to that medium through which the payment was made.
However, there will be no refund if there is no show during the consultancy time under any circumstances.
No refund shall be initiated if the consultancy does not take place owing to technical fault at the patients’ end but there will be full refund if there is technical problem at the Hospitals end.
